Terms of Service
These terms apply when you use the RXGE Auto app and website. By creating an account or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
RXGE Auto lets you record your vehicles' services, modifications, documents and costs, and set reminders. It is a record-keeping tool. Reminders and totals are aids only, and they do not replace your manufacturer's service schedule, your insurer's requirements or legal deadlines. You are responsible for keeping your vehicle serviced, insured and licensed.
Your account
- You must give accurate information and keep your password private.
- You are responsible for activity under your account.
- You must be at least 18 years old.
- You can delete your account at any time, as explained here.
Plans and payments
- There is a free plan with limits on cars, service logs and modifications. Paid plans raise those limits. Current plans and prices are shown in the app, in Kenya shillings.
- Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel. Lifetime plans, where offered, are a one-time payment for access to that plan's features for as long as we operate the service.
- Subscriptions bought through Google Play are billed by Google and follow Google's terms and refund rules. You manage and cancel them in the Google Play Store.
- Subscriptions bought on our website are processed by Paystack. You can cancel in the app, and your plan then stays active until the end of the period you have paid for.
- If a paid plan expires or is cancelled, your account returns to the free plan. Your data is kept, but limits apply and you may not be able to add more records until you are under them.
- Payments are not refundable except where the law or the store's policy requires it.
Acceptable use
Do not misuse the app. That includes trying to access other users' data, interfering with the service, reverse engineering it, or using it for anything unlawful.
Your data
You own the data you enter. You give us permission to store and process it to run the app, as described in our Privacy Policy.
No warranty
We work to keep the app reliable and accurate, but it is provided as it is, without warranties of any kind. We do not promise that it will always be available or error free.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for losses from relying on reminders or totals shown in the app. Our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Suspension and ending
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms. You may stop using the app at any time.
Changes
We may update these terms. If we make a significant change, we will tell you in the app or by email. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept it.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Kenya, and the courts of Kenya have jurisdiction.
